How long have you been using VETIGEL^®, and in how many procedures have you used it?

"I’ve been using VETIGEL^® over the last year, and have probably used it in 15-20 procedures."

What do you like about VETIGEL^®?

"It’s much more convenient to use than other hemostatic products. Using the Precision Accessories also means you can get access to small places accurately."

Tell me about some of the procedures you’ve found benefited from the use of VETIGEL^®?

"I have used it in hamster and hedgehog enucleations, and a ferret adrenalectomy. I have also used VETIGEL^® in dental extractions in dogs, cats and chinchillas."

What else can you tell me about your use of VETIGEL^®?

"As well as being convenient and easy to apply, it reduces procedure time and blood loss, which is of benefit to both the patient and the hospital."

You have clearly had a lot of experience with VETIGEL^®; for what other procedures do you think you’d consider using it?

"I think it could have a role in dealing with bleeding suspensory ligaments, toenails, blood feathers, and epistaxis.”

Would you recommend VETIGEL^® to other veterinarians?

"Yes. The other veterinarians in my hospital use VETIGEL^®, and I would strongly recommend it to others.”
